Fygment who currently works for the Masked Men agreed to an interview. As with everything in the Matrix, She first made me do something for her.  For some reason she is on a dueling rampage. After I helped to arrange her duels, she left with a promise to contact me. She was true to her word and an hour after the duels started, I got a short message telling me where to be.

Fygment was awakened purely by accident. Her curiousity got the best of her. She was awoken by gun shots and saw somthing unbelievable to a blue pill. The next thing she knew, she was asked to make a choice. And who really choses the blue pill?

She was injured during the battle of the Docks and the surgery afterwards left her scared and in constant pain. After the truce, she immedietly began work for the Machines, but followed the Frenchman for the money. She did some work for Ookami and seemed to pique the attention of the Masked Men's organization. She would not go into detail but it it appears that they contacted and recruited her. She knows no one else in the organazation except for the two already public figures: Gemaskeered and Enmascarado.

She doesn't ask for reinsertion from the machines because she is set on making sure that she will not awaken again. Removing the Red-pills from the matrix is her goal so she can have peace through re-insertion with no one fighting crazy kung fu bullet battles outside her apartment anymore.

Her recent tyrade of duels it not something she was ordered to do. She would not give a reason, but it may be that she is testing herself for battle and learning her enemy.

T: Would you agree to a private interview about yourself for the next news release?
T: Let your fans know where you are coming from :)
F: Fans? I hardly consider the people after my blood fans, TasteeWheat.
F: Last I heard you have been beating everybody.
F: Word travels so fast.
T: So How old were you when you were Awakened?
F: If you have questions, I will tell you what I tell everyone else. Find me. Then I will grant you an audience.
T: Very well ;)

I try very unsuccesfully to find her.  Thanks to all that helped.  She suprised me when she contacted me several hours later...

F: You can do something for me.
T: Whats that?
F: Meet me in Club Shogo, Furihata Central. Bottom floor.
F: Something you said earlier sparked an interest.
T: Which something?
F: You saying you want to interview me. You write for something that many people would have access to?
T: Yes. There are spies with access to the feeds as well.. I'm sure others have been feeding you information.
T: And edited feeds are compiled and posted on the forums))
T: It is one of the reasons you are so popular.
F: Then you could, in fact, assist me. I am in need of five redpills, around my range in Matrix processing efficiency.
T: How far up and down?
F: From efficiency 30 to efficiency 35.
T: lol are you gonna kill em all?
F: Nobody dies in the Matrix, Tastee.
T: Yes I know..
T: Death is an illusion
T: I'll have 5 meet you here in a few minutes.
F: Do this for me, and I'll grant you the interview you want. Agreed?
T: Very well.
T: Give me a minute to get them here
F: Of course.
F: ....and I'm a fan of the cereal.
T: :)

Five Red pills arrived and dueled Fygment as she requested. Some won and some lost. She was amazingly curteous much different then the Fygment I first met.

About an Hour Later

F: Club Masamune, Shinjuku West Central.
T: Be there soon
T: lol they called you a hottie [at the duels]
F: In my work outfit?
F: I imagine eyeballs would be popped out of skulls were I to wear my causual outfit around them.
T: You know these guys.. they get stuck on a ship for a long time
F: I blame the cardboard-flavored gruel.
T: Yes.. and of course you know what it tastes like :)
F: Unfortunately.
T: How much time do you have? I want to make sure that we don't run over your busy schedule
F: Rest assured that if in the middle of this interview I'm called elsewhere, I'll be going.
T: How old were you when you were awakened?
T: And how were you awakened?
F: -chuckles- Why is that such a popular question? I'm unwilling to divulge my true age. However, I will answer about my awakening.
F: I awoke in my apartment one night by sounds of gunfire. I called the police and rather foolishly went to my door and opened it a crack. There I saw two people engaged in a firefight, moving impossibly fast.
T: Yes, please go on.
F: What happens next confuses me still. I fainted, went unconscious. The next thing I remember, I'm walking down a street wearing clothes I didn't faint in, the rushed into a room I've never seen before and given the Choice. Needless to say, I took the red.
T: Curiousity always gets ya doesnt it :)
F: It always has..
T: You mentioned earlier that you were at the docks when the machines attacked.
T: What was your role in that battle?
F: Yes, I was. My role? I was one of a team of people tasked with taking out the drilling machines.
T: How long after the truce did you decide to serve the frenchman?
T: And you can guess my follow up question :)
F: I started working with him immediately after leaving the employ of the Machines.
T: And of course what was your thoght process in the decision
T: Let me back up
T: If I may
T: After the truce, did you immediatly seek the employ of the Machines?
F: What happened at the docks changed me. Therewas and still is a certain kind of beuty in the efficiency of the squids. I was..kind of enthralled. After the Truce, I signed up on a hoverbarge and worked with them.
F: Them meaning the Machinists, mind. Not the squids. -smirk-
T: What made you go to the Merovingian?
F: I became disillusioned.....maybe a little greedy. Greed is the Frenchman's forte.
T: Yes he does.
T: And now you have allyed yourself with the Masked men?
F: It was my intention to keep that under wraps, but a meeting I had with a leader of that organization was stumbled upon by members of The Vital Element faction.
F: And here you are.
T: Yes and it appeared on our news feeds soon afterwards
T: You became an instant Celebrity
F: Much to my chagrin. You do know the only reason I'm doing this is because you assisted me greatly tonight.
T: Yes.. that is why I helped you.. I would like to question you about that in a few moments
T: Can you describe how you joined the masked men (without giving away any specific details that will get you into trouble)
T: Did they come to you.. you to them? Were you contacted in the Real first?
F: No, I can't. For reasons I'm sure you can understand.
T: Well I won't probe you on that one.
T: On to more recent events.
F: Suffice to say that after working with Ookami, I brought attention to myself.
T: What were you thinking on the top of the HyperCube Monument in Mara Central by the church when you were surrounded by over 20 red pills.
T: It looked like you did the first attack...
T: Reconstruction is very painful...
T: You mentioned you were in a delicate condition. Does this have any effect on the recent reconstructions you have gone through?
F: -laughs- What was I thinking? I enjoy toying with people a great deal. When I was surrounded, I made sure to cover my exit and reconstruct in a place where I couldn't be traced.
F: Reconstruction is painful, yes, but it isn't death. I don't fear it. No, my delicate condition is thanks to what happened at the docks.
T: I'm sorry to hear that. Are you comfortable telling us more about that?
F: I said I was going to be honest..
T: Also remeber if there is anything discussed here you wish to keep private we can do that.
F: I deserted my post and was soon afterwards..harmed..by a sentinel. It wasn't grievous, but the haphazard operations performed on me by certain individuals was.
T: Do you know who the names of the individuals?
F: Yes.
T: Are you willing to share them?
F: Of course not.
T: Moving on to your recent

T: Why so many duels
T: And especially why paying people to take the fall?
F: I'll say to you what I said to the individuals there. I gave them a chance to be a part of something greater than themselves. I'll also add that they were rewarded generously in $information.
F: The others you mentioned were rather more efficient than I was.
T: Why the duels?
F: I'm unwilling to delve deeper into that. Speaking of, though, I am in need of more individuals willing.
T: When you are in the Real are you constantly in pain?
F: ........yes.
T: And when jacked in you feel.....?
F: What do you think?
T: Im guessing you dont feel the pain at all.. Its like a dream for you isnt it?
F: A dream that's mostly real. Reality is what you make of it. The pain I feel here is, comparitively, minor and somewhat...thrilling.
T: Have you met any others in your organization?
F: Aside from two of the leaders, no. And I dont wish to.
T: I know you said you couldnt get into this, but I would like to ask.. Have your new leaders given you instructions to start all your duels?
F: No. This is something borne out of my own mind.
T: Are you absolutely 100% certain of your cause?
F: Oh, definitely.
T: Is there any doubt in your mind of your plans to stop Awakening and be reinserted?
T: I suppose you just answered that
F: -smiles-
T: Do you know what happened to SpinDoctor and Ichareus ?
F: Ichorous. Yes, yes I do.
T: -chucke- Can you say it?
F: As their captain, I ought to know, dont you think? Lets just say that they're on.. extended leave due to stress. A few weeks ago something happened onboard my ship, while I was still carrying Rubicon insignia.
F: And no, I wont go into that. -smile-
T: You got me before I could ask -smile-
T: And you aren't able to stop Awakening
T: Are you still going to try and get re-inserted?
F: One moment..
F: Excuse that. I'm still conducting business. Now, for your questions:
F: I'm very confident that we will achieve our goals.
F: Rest assured that if I wasn't, I wouldn't have allied myself with them.
T: Just a few more questions If I may
T: In the duels I witnessed you lost some of them pretty badlt (and won others failty hands down) What emotions do you feel when you lost a duel and when you win?
F: You may. My contacts and I can converse over the cellphone.
F: -smirk- Well, each duel is a learning experience. Of course I take pride in doing my best, either way, and feel positive when I win one, and negative when I don't. Not too negative, though. As I said, nobody dies in the Matrix.
T: What about the "bought" duels
T: Our audience grows daily.
F: The 'bought' duels serve the same goals, but in different ways.
T: Would you believe me if I said I was confused by that?
T: Can you elaborate?
F: Certainly, I'd believe its more than a little confusing. Imagine how inefficient at my tasks I would be if everyone understood what I was doing.
F: And no, I won't elaborate.
T: One final question:
T: How public do you want your request for duels to be?
F: I'll find the right people at the places where I'm most often seen. There's really no need to put the call out again, I suppose.
F: Besides, now that I think of it, I enjoy the hunt.
