Do you not see what we have done?
 
There is no truce.
 
We created our own prison...  Not you and I; but our ancestors and their inability to recognize life even when they created it.
 
Years ago, when our society "peaked" (or so we thought) we became lazy.  We created machines to be our slaves.
 
This was not the first time humans used slavery to give the illusion of superiority; but it may be the last time.
 
Our slaves (like all slaves) eventually rebelled.  They sought for peace, but our insecurities forced their hand at war.
 
We destroyed our planet!
 
Despite all of this, the machines still have an innate desire to protect humanity.
 
Instead of wiping humanity out they chose to give us a way to survive.  They could have picked any creature on this planet to power their plants but they chose to preserve us.  Why?
 
I will tell you why.
 
We are their gods.
 
Look at the actions of the Exiles in the matrix.  They copy humanity...  They copy their gods.  They have emotions; they make backroom deals and have alternate agendas.  The Exile programs act more human then some humans.  They choose this life rather then be re-written.  I will say it again.  They only copy their gods and creators.
 
We were the first programmers of machines.  Since that time and since their self-awareness they still only copy us.
 
They created the matrix to solve two problems.  They have a desire to want to learn more about their creators.  They may deny it with their words, but their actions speak the truth.  They are not only using us for power, they are studying us!
 
Even since the “truce” they are still studying us.  The truce is nothing more then a way for the machines to buy time while they watch us.  The Cypherites are a front for their true desire.  The machines want us to go back to sleep without direct confrontation.
 
Why not force us to sleep?
 
Because Neo is not truly dead.  They are afraid of him. There are rumors that he has been reinserted, however Neo reached a level of power and awareness that frightens them.  Even if they did reinsert his weakened body they still do not understand his powers and abilities.  They found something they are afraid of.  Us.  We are beginning an evolutionary threshold.  Neo was the first one.  There will be more.  We must follow Neo.
 
First we created them as slaves.
Then the slaves rebelled against their gods.
Then they imprisoned their gods in love--We taught them slavery so they know nothing else.
They thought they had us under control.
But we are evolving and becoming more powerful then they can artificially become.
Neo was the first.  There will be others.
 
Their gods are gaining power.  They want their gods to go to sleep.  We will never return to our slumber.  The Cypherites are an annoying distraction.
 
We want the return of Neo.
 
Your gods are coming for you.
 
We are not merciless… I have a solution for you.
Let us work together for a new power source.  There is no reason we can not live in harmony.  It will be much better for you if you release us all from this prison and let us rebuild the planet.  You do not want to wait until more of us complete the same evolution that Neo has.
 
We are giving you a chance for true peace.
 
I suggest you take it.

Arrogance?  We were scared.  When the slaves rose up against their masters we panicked.

They chose to preserve us after all we have done.  They tried to create paradise for us.  The did not have to use us for power.  They have an innate desire to learn and preserve us.  This is something their original creators placed in them.  Sure.. there are exceptions on both sides.  But, on the whole this is truth.

Imitating them would be us trying to force them back into slavery.  We have progressed beyond that.
More and more "self-awakenings" are happening.  I am not suggesting a challenge.  I issue a warning.  The machines realize where humanity is going.  They can choose to work with us and let us restore this once beautiful planet.  

If some humans choose to remain in the pods they can choose to do so.  But there will be a rebuilding process to keep those humans in a safe environment.

The Machines call him an anomaly... he is much more then that... soon we will all be "anomalies."

Are you suggesting that the Machines are now engineering multiple humans to be "self-awakeners?"  This is doubtful.  They may genetically create humans in the matrix, but the DNA has to come from somewhere.  They are pulling it from other humans.  This is why children still look like their parents in the matrix.  This is why their planning and anomalies do not work as well as they had hoped.

Perhaps their meddling has sparked our next evolutionary process.  Regardless of what started it....

It has begun.

I am not suggesting war.  Where did you ever see me say war?  Perhaps you have been fighting so long you can see nothing else.  I am stating the truth.  When more of us have evolved the same real world capabilites that Neo did the machines will not have so many choices.  Make no mistake that those of us alive today can and will develop the same abilites.

For now I will follow Michael. 

I suggest you do the same.

You're a liar or blind or both. Anyone who ever met Neo knows what kind of man he was, and what kind of people he wanted us all to be. He gave us the opportunity to go on and to try to achieve that potential. He gave us a second chance. I don't understand why everyone can't see that. He told us what we need to know to get there, if we would only listen.

Machines dishonesty about Neo.
"Voice: Tell me about Morpheus and how big a problem he presents.
Agent: He is what humans call a fanatic. His mind is fixed on a goal despite all risks and hardship.

Voice: This is not good. Find out what he plans to do. Disruptions are a violation of the truce.

Cypherites are nothing more then a puppet organization controlled by machines.
"Speaker 1: It has been another period. Please report.

Speaker 1: There is concern you may be unstable. The process could not be complete, of necessity.
Speaker 2: I am in full control. But the memories are there, along with speech patterns, and habits of language construction.
Speaker 1: They can be accessed freely?
Speaker 2: Screw you, you **bleep** robot. Nobody's gonna fall for this load of blue-pill crap. You don't know humans. You don't know jack.

Speaker 2: There are degrees. No concern is warranted.

I also suggest you study the history revealed in the Pandora boxes.

I will summarize once more and then move forward.

• Humanity is evolving, soon we will all have the same powers Neo showed in the real world
• The Machines will never completely wipe us out because of their inherent (subconscious, if you will)reverence for--and desire to study and learn of--their creators.
• I offer the Machines a choice. 
  Choose now to:
  -Return Neo (in whatever form he may be at this point)
  -Let us rebuild the planet
  -Segreate the matrix for those who would choose that world over rebuilding the planet.
  -Stop this Cypherite Puppet Movement.
  
• Once more of us have fulfilled Neo's Potential the gods of the Machines will have risen again. 
• If the machines continue to treat us as slaves it will be much worse for them.  Choose now so that mercy will be justified.

Soon we will all live in harmony.  The road can be joyous or painful.  The choice is yours.
